The HSE Specialist reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for ensuring the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems.

• Occupational Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Incident Investigation and Prevention: Conduct thorough investigations of workplace incidents and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
• Fire Safety: Develop and implement fire safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
• Document Management: Maintain and update relevant documents, including safety procedures, training records, and incident reports.
• Training Support: Provide support to management in the development and delivery of training programs on occupational health and safety.
• Interface Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, external contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Safety Management System: Maintain and update the company's safety management system, including the development of safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, including ISO 50.001:2018, and provide support to management in the development of audit reports.
• Facility Management: Participate in facility management activities, including maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
• Sustainability: Ensure that all HSE activities are aligned with the company's sustainability goals and objectives.

• Determine priorities for tasks within the department.
• Adjust and optimize processes and procedures within the department in consultation with management.

• High Motivation and Resilience: Strong engagement and self-motivation, even in stressful situations.

• Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety: Completed training in occupational health and safety with good knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Language Skills and Communication: Fluent in German and English, with additional languages being an asset.
• Safe Handling of MS Office: Proficient in MS Office and ideally familiar with industry-specific software.
• Teamwork and Communication: Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly to promote a safety culture.
• Experience in HSE Management: Practical experience in implementing and monitoring HSE programs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
