Cinemo GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud services using Golang. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining our backend media services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of the media processing and delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new features and functionality within a microservices architecture, leveraging the principles of modularity, scalability, and fault isolation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop new functionality, integrating with internal infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability between various system components, databases, and services.
  • Cooperate with the DevOps team to design and implement the necessary infrastructure to support 24/7/365 operations, focusing on automation, monitoring, and resilience to maintain continuous service availability.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, with a solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Go/Golang, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, including designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient microservices.
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including implementing best practices to ensure the reliability and availability of services.
  • Ability to design REST APIs, ensuring they are robust, secure, and easy to use.
