Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the production of highly specialized components.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor the production of rotating components made of nickel-based or titanium superalloys, both in series and when introducing new products.
• Develop and optimize workflows and production processes, taking into account current ergonomic and economic findings.
• Create working documents such as work, test, and sketch plans as well as process-specific instructions.
• Plan and design the equipment, devices, and measuring equipment used.
• Document production methods and approval, taking into account all relevant quality requirements and regulations.
• Check customer specifications and technical negotiations with customers regarding feasibility, quality, and costs.
• Implement and coordinate optimization measures for manufacturing processes or product definitions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Control and monitor production trials and analyze the results.
• Carry out problem, process, and weak point analyses using test and error documentation as well as advanced quality tools.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical degree.
• Confident handling of quality data, CAD software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of work preparation with Siemens Teamcenter, CAD with Siemens NX, and SAP Manufacturing & Costing is desirable.
• Specialist knowledge in the production of aerospace components or in metal processing is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills are required to ensure technical communication.
