About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Plumber to join our team at the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt. As a journeyman level plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out skilled maintenance and repair work on the critical and noncritical mechanical and plumbing systems throughout the Consulate Compound.

Your Tasks
  • Carry out skilled maintenance and repair work on mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Work on critical and noncritical systems throughout the Consulate Compound
  • Perform tasks in functional/office buildings, ancillary support and residential buildings, above and below ground infrastructures, recreational facilities, and other owned/leased properties
Your Profile

To be eligible for this position, you must have completed a secondary school and have completed a vocational training program from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level plumbers and mechanical system specialists. Training through a recognized apprenticeship program provided by a trade union is also considered acceptable.
