Logistics Operations Manager

Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of automated systems and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve system failures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, maintenance, or a related field
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of automation technologies (e.g. Siemens S7, Profibus, Profinet)
