About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Assurance Manager to join our team at Siemens Healthineers AG. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial workstream in large and complex M&A projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide focused financial advice to the Siemens Healthineers managing board by performing financial due diligence and valuation services.
  • Advising on and negotiating relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustment mechanisms and closing balance sheet provisions with target companies' management/advisors.
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of business plans and profitability calculations.
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all impacts and risks to the target's financials are assessed.
  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with other parts of Siemens Healthineers globally to establish the department as a trusted advisor.
  • Promote and drive digitalization within the Transaction Assurance department.
  • Manage and direct external financial advisors on a project-by-project basis.
Requirements
  • Above-average academic history and career progression.
  • A university degree (Master or PhD) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Many years of professional experience as an M&A/Financial Due Diligence advisor or relevant experience in Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of M&A contracts and purchase price mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS; CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience working in an international business setting and intercultural sensitivity.
