Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to support our Corporate Strategy & Business Development department. As a Strategic Development Associate, you will play a key role in analyzing, identifying, and developing strategic options for action, acquisition activities, new business models, and other important internal and external projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in strategy development for the Group and at national and international level within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group
- Track and monitor the success of corporate and country strategies
- Prepare industry, market, and competition analyses as well as strategic analysis of future changes
- Support the development and preparation of country analyses within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group
- Support in the processing of internal strategic projects and their project controlling
- Active involvement in M&A projects, from the identification of potential acquisition candidates to due diligence and company integration
- Collaborate in the preparation of business plans, profitability analyses, and company valuations
- A low willingness to travel of approximately 10%
Requirements
- You are a registered student in the fields of business administration, economics, finance, or comparable disciplines
- You have strong analytical skills, as well as a high level of motivation and personal responsibility
- You have very good written and spoken German and very good English skills
- You enjoy international cooperation
- You are willing to work 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months and become a fully-fledged member of our humorous and strong team
