Global HR Strategist for Specialty Chemistry

ECKART GmbH, a subsidiary of ALTANA AG, is a leading manufacturer of effect pigments and metal powders. Our products are used in various industries, including coatings and printing, plastics, aerated concrete, corrosion protection, and cosmetics.

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Head of HR to join our team at ECKART GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that support the growth and success of our company.

• Develop and implement strategic workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business results
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and collaborate with senior leaders to drive business outcomes
• Provide leadership and direction to the HR function, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Manage the recruitment process for key positions, including internal and external candidates
• Oversee talent nomination, retention, and succession planning to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders
• Ensure consistent position classification and compensation policies across the division
• Execute and integrate HR topics within M&A transactions and organizational restructuring efforts

• Masters degree or equivalent university degree
• Several years of comprehensive HR experience and strategy
• Ability to work in a decentralized organization with effective influencing skills
• Business acumen and understanding of business models
• High analytical skills and ability to reduce complexity
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• Leadership skills, motivation, and negotiation abilities
• Talent management, planning, and implementation skills
• Fluent in German and English language
