About the RoleWe are a leading company in the sanitary, heating, and ventilation industry, with a strong presence in Northern Germany. Our company has a rich history of over 150 years and is part of the international BME-Group.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team in Kiel and Berlin. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Creating, modifying, and executing purchase orders
- Managing order confirmations and tracking shipments
- Resolving issues with defective shipments
- Communicating with suppliers regarding delays
- Troubleshooting errors in our ERP system
- Managing returns and exchanges
- Performing data updates and maintenance
- Investigating and resolving stock-out issues
- Escalating critical issues, such as impending stockouts
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
- Experience in supply chain management
- Knowledge of the SHK industry is an asset
- Proficiency in working with ERP systems, preferably SLIM4
- Independent and structured work style
- Excellent English language skills
