About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch) - H13, you will play a critical role in helping our partners gain the most value from cloud technology. You will craft and execute strategies to drive our partners' adoption and use of AWS services, including a range of products such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more.

You will partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country, from rising startups building their business from scratch to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. Your responsibilities will include providing advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning, as well as ongoing operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
  • You will ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • You will develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • You will drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • You will consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
  • You will collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • You will proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • You will provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, detailed pre-launch planning.
  • You will solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  • You will uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.
