About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our Product-Team at Packmatic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable and maintainable APIs, backend systems, and workflows to enable seamless integration with our SaaS product.

Your primary focus will be on data integrations, working closely with our CTO and Tech Lead to design and implement efficient data schemes and manage PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS. You will also collaborate with clients and their technical teams to understand integration requirements and leverage data integration workflows in AI tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain APIs, backend systems, and workflows for data integration
  • Design and implement efficient data schemes and manage PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS
  • Collaborate with clients and their technical teams to understand integration requirements
  • Leverage data integration workflows in AI tools to automate processes and improve quality
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for integration procedures and best practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development with a strong focus on data integrations
  • Demonstrated experience integrating with ERP systems or other external parties and related data integration challenges
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with RDBMS (especially PostgreSQL) and AWS services & cloud architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address complex integration issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
