Golang Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Software Engineer to join our team at Hornetsecurity. As a key member of our Security Lab department, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our messaging platform.

This platform is widely used by large ISPs across Europe, the US, and Japan, and we are looking for someone to help us optimize its performance and scalability. You will work closely with our team of skilled Golang engineers to build and enhance tools for writing and managing email filtering policies.

1. Develop and maintain our messaging services using Golang.
2. Build and enhance tools for writing and managing email filtering policies.
3. Optimize the messaging platform for performance and scalability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new modern messaging features.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the messaging platform and email delivery.
6. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Golang.
3. Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and email security concepts.
4. Experience with developing and maintaining messaging services, like an MTA, or similar network-based applications.
5. Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
6. Familiar with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
7. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Desire to learn and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
11. Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
