Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our Cloud Lifecycle Management Application Management team. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our development products, including Service Provider Cockpit (SPC) and BTP Based solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust quality control processes and tools to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Coach teams on quality assurance and test-related processes, methods, and tools.
- Analyze and evaluate test progress and results, taking appropriate follow-up actions.
- Initiate process or tool improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Act as quality and test contact for developers and program stakeholders.
- 6+ years of IT experience.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer or similar role as an ABAP/non-ABAP developer.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile Software Engineering (ASE).
- Knowledge and experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and address potential quality issues.
- Designs, creates, and implements quality KPIs to assess quality and compliance status.
- Deep knowledge of relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements, and quality assurance and test-related tools.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS), corporate requirements, and ISO standards.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with ABAP and cloud-based testing environments and related technologies (including reporting).
- Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
- Knowledge of various testing methods and possible tools.
- Familiarity with integrating Quality Metrics into a Quality Management System (QMS).
