Information Security Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team at Speira GmbH. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the local implementation and compliance with our company's security guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist in monitoring information assurance and perform independent analysis of IT system concepts, make recommendations for design and optimization, and facilitate the assessment and approval process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures for the local site and make recommendations.
- Conduct basic information security training for new employees onboarding at the plant.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in defining and analyzing system security requirements and providing solutions that best meet business needs.
- Identify and communicate technical risks and mitigation strategies as well as develop and maintain security documentation.
- Assist in finalizing documentation and implementing information security requirements and controls for IT systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
- Act proactively to prevent potential disaster situations at the local site and assist in assessing local information security incidents, determining required actions and coordinating actions.
- Conduct and complete annual reviews and audits in accordance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements to ensure compliance with the local ISMS.
- Communicate risks and recommendations to mitigate them and provide transparent KPIs.
- Support the regular identification and classification of information and physical assets within a centralized register for information assets.
Requirements:
- A degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of information security.
- A careful, responsible, structured, and team-oriented way of working.
- Very good English skills and very good knowledge of the local language (German or Norwegian).
