We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team at Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and systems to improve the inference of foundation models.
Your primary focus will be on researching and developing innovative solutions to optimize the performance of foundation model execution, including training and inference. You will work closely with our customers, product organizations, and the academic and research communities to ensure that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in machine learning, computer science, and related fields. You should have experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python, as well as with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of modern deep learning architectures and experience with mathematical optimization, parallel and distributed computing, and high-performance computing.
