About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Jedox GmbH. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our platform's frontend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement visual frontend components for our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Technical Leadership: Contribute to the global design system, including the implementation of components, and lead discussions with stakeholders on technical and strategic development topics.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with product management, implementation services, quality assurance, and support teams to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train junior engineers to enhance their capabilities and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
  • Technical Expertise: Evaluate new technologies to meet new requirements or optimize performance and stability, and ensure the implementation of best practices in software development.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in modern Java Spring or React, typescript, Javascript.
  • Skills: Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and UI design languages, experience with CI/CD and development toolchains such as Git/GitHub, and familiarity with working in an agile environment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead discussions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
