Transforming Mobility with Innovation

Transdev, a leading private rail passenger operator, is seeking a Junior Innovation Manager to enhance its innovative capability and develop new services. The successful candidate will be based in Berlin, Germany, and will be responsible for monitoring market trends, assessing the potential implementation of new technologies, and analyzing upcoming innovations. The role requires a university degree or dedicated work experience in innovation, with a strong IT background being an advantage. Key skills include the ability to monitor and analyze market trends, evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of implementing new technologies, and assess whether upcoming innovations pose risks or opportunities to Transdev's business models. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in developing business plans for innovative services, including market analysis and financial projections. English full proficiency is required, with German A2/B1 level also necessary. This is a 24-month mission, reporting to the Director of Innovation and New Markets. Travel will be national, with 3 days per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering an innovative culture within the organization, promoting creativity and collaboration, and building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor market trends for technological developments
  • Assess the potential implementation of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Analyze upcoming innovations and their impact on Transdev's business models
  • Support the implementation of Proof-of-Case (POC) projects
  • Foster an innovative culture within the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
  • Develop business plans for innovative services

Requirements:
  • University degree or dedicated work experience in innovation
  • Strong IT background
  • English full proficiency (B2 level)
  • German A2/B1 level
