Platform Engineer for Property Management

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Impower, a leading PropTech company. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our software applications and services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Ansible
  • Maintaining backup services and practicing disaster recovery scenarios
  • Assisting and resolving critical service degradations
  • Providing internal teams with well-maintained tooling
  • Ensuring the CI/CD pipeline runs stable for feature teams to work efficiently
  • Building data-connected workflows to support data-driven work modes
  • Developing the CI/CD pipeline's QA Automation
  • Guiding teams with best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong background in backend technologies such as Java, C#, or Python
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • Proficiency in both German (B2+) and English (C1+) languages
