Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps team at Solactive AG. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders, including developers and business teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective decision-making.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Terraform and other open-source tools.
- Promote best practices such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their growth and development.
- Drive the automation and standardization of processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- A strong background in cloud computing, with 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Hands-on expertise in open-source infrastructure as code (Terraform) and the Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance analysis tools, such as Zabbix, InfluxDB, and Grafana, as well as automation tools like Ansible and Rundeck.
- Knowledge of Linux, Python, and Kubernetes, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and enable others.
