About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt. As a Premium Vehicle ADAS Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and validation of advanced driver assistance systems for premium vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate ADAS functions with a focus on camera-based systems, including visual parking systems, throughout the entire development cycle.
• Test and develop future driver assistance systems for premium vehicles.
• Develop test cases based on customer specifications.
• Commission initial tests on prototypes, if necessary.
• Document emerging errors and validate test results.
• Interface with our project environment and various departments.
• Conduct test and application drives abroad.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, or a comparable field.
• First experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the form of internships or student jobs.
• Interest in innovative technologies.
• First experiences with operating systems (Linux), vehicle communication systems/bus systems.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python/C/C++/etc.).
• Excellent German and good English skills.
