Project Manager E-Commerce Specialist

The Opportunity

This position plays a key role in the Abbott Diabetes Care division, working out of our location in Wiesbaden, Germany. Our team is dedicated to helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead e-commerce projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify projects that support strategic goals.
  • Define, map, and implement technical reimbursement processes within the direct-to-patient approach.
  • Monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify potential issues, risks, or problems.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a consistent customer journey and experience.
  • Act as the main point of contact and coordinator for Webshop communication.
  • Support IT and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure integration of all requirements meet legal, data privacy, and Abbott regulations.
  • Maximize revenue and margin on site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Adequate university degree in economics, business administration, or business information technology.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in e-commerce and project management.
  • Understanding of the German healthcare reimbursement system.
  • Proven project and process management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Action-oriented team player with accountability.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop sustainable relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience or exposure to the IT industry, e-commerce, Salesforce, and working with international teams.
  • Experience in analytics, regulatory tools, and ticketing tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the German healthcare reimbursement system.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of diabetes and blood glucose measuring business.
  • Experience in building products.
  • Certified project management training.
