About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Account Professional to support the go-to market strategies of our portfolio company. In this role, you will ensure the optimization of business-critical services and contribute to various projects.

The portfolio company is a trailblazing supply chain platform that has redefined the way large construction material orders are sourced, distributed, and financed. It provides access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale through its innovative platform. Since its launch, the company has successfully served hundreds of companies and generated exponential growth toward profitability.

As a Strategic Account Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating and overseeing transactions on the marketplace to ensure seamless trade between buyers and suppliers
  • Collaborating with buyers and suppliers to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges that may arise during the trading process
  • Staying informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions
  • Conducting regular analysis of trade data and providing insights to enhance trading strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Addressing concerns or feedback from clients and working towards effective problem resolution
  • Working closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring all trades comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and contributing to the development of compliance protocols
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent French language skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required.
