Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Specialist (m/w/d) for Heavy Machinery to join our team at Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the heavy machinery industry.

• Conduct continuous market research and analysis in the areas of agricultural machinery, spare parts, and service operations.
• Regularly visit assigned customers to evaluate their needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify, advise, and support customers in their purchasing decisions for heavy machinery, spare parts, and service operations.
• Proactively sell heavy machinery, service, and spare parts to customers on-site.
• Identify potential markets and customer needs for service operations and spare parts sales.
• Conduct market analyses and competitor comparisons.
• Inspect and verify the functionality and wear of machines and components.
• Evaluate defects, damages, and repair requests.
• Coordinate customer-specific service operations.
• Proactively sell service contracts.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and represent the company in the region.

• Completed training as a heavy machinery mechanic or mechatronics technician or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: qualified further education (e.g., master craftsman, technician, technical business administrator, etc.).
• Experience in the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry.
• Excellent technical knowledge.
• High affinity for sales.
• IT skills (MS Office/ERP).
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation.
• Assertiveness, attention to detail, and discipline.
• Far-sightedness.
