Senior Financial Accountant

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will lead a workstream within a large business transformation project for the global renewal of our financial systems (Polaris). Your focus will be on the migration of our general ledger to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze existing processes and define new target processes, taking into account all necessary customization processes.
- Interface with various departments within the company, as well as with employees at our branches and subsidiaries worldwide, our external consultants, and management.
- Process functional and technical issues in connection with reporting in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and Solvency II.
- Degree in economics or business administration, preferably with a focus on finance or commercial training with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in the finance department of an international company, preferably an insurance or reinsurance company.
- Ideal knowledge of the SAP general ledger and the upstream insurance-related sub-systems.
- Experience in the technical management of a multifunctional team or project.
- International mindset paired with German and English at a conversational level.
- Flexibility: A hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave.
- Work Abroad: Up to 20 days a year within the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
