About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at BASF Digital Farming GmbH. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud security with a focus on AWS services and a strong background in developing enterprise-wide security frameworks and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security assessments and audits in collaboration with external partners, identifying vulnerabilities to mitigate risks through threat modeling and incident response plans.
  • Create and maintain security architecture decision trees and implementation guides for common use cases as well as drive standardization of security controls and practices across the enterprise cloud environment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or a related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security with a focus on AWS services.
  • Extensive experience in cloud security architecture with deep expertise in AWS services, as well as in creating and implementing security blueprint solutions.
  • Strong background in developing enterprise-wide security frameworks and standards and advanced knowledge of networking, cloud security services, identity management and encryption technologies.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and security automation and relevant certifications (AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

The estimated salary for this role is around €80,000-€110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
