About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented student to support our Digital Marketing team as a Web Content Editor for hours/week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for uploading, editing, and managing engaging content for our website. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail. Necessary training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload, edit, and publish web content, including articles, blog posts, product pages, and multimedia elements.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and style guides.
  • Upload content translations based on guidelines provided.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to produce and enhance web content.
  • Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Manage content updates and revisions based on reviews and feedback.
  • Handle any other related web content duties that may become necessary.

About You:

  • You are currently studying for a bachelor's or master's degree, ideally with a focus on marketing or communications.
  • You have gained first experience as a Web Content Editor, Content Writer, or similar role or activity during internships or working student positions.
  • You have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • You have ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • You have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web publishing.
  • You are eager to utilize your prior experience with a content management system such as WordPress, Drupal, Google Sites etc.
  • You possess familiarity with modern website accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • You have a general understanding of UX/UI principles.
