Überblick

Als Laboratory Manager - Next Generation Sequencing bei GENEWIZ sind Sie verantwortlich für die fachliche und disziplinarische Führung der Teamleiter im Bereich Next Generation Sequencing und Sanger Sequencing. Sie werden die Auswahl, Entwicklung und Leistungsbeurteilung von Personal durchführen und die Entwicklung der Teams und der Strukturen im Labor unterstützen.

Aufgaben

  • Kapaziätsplanung und Koordination zur fristgerechten Durchführung aller Kundenaufträge.
  • Schnittstelle zu unterstützenden Abteilungen wie HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing, Logistik, Quality Management.
  • Cost Monitoring / Cost Controlling: Erfassung sowie Überwachung von Materialkosten. Beschaffung von Geräten, Verbrauchsmaterialien und Reagenzien. Regelmäßige Inventur.
  • Schnittstelle zur Prozessentwicklung zur Erweiterung des Produktportfolios. Kontinuierliche Verbesserung bestehender Abläufe und Prozesse im Labor. Etablierung neuer Services zur Erweiterung des Produktionsportfolios. Upscaling und Automation im Bereich Sanger und NGS.
  • Vorbereitung und Umsetzung der Anforderungen bestehender Zertifizierungen (DIN ISO 9001). Einführung zukünftiger Akkreditierungen (DIN ISO). Vorbereitung und Teilnahme an internen und externen Audits.
  • Regelmäßiger Austausch und enge Zusammensammenarbeit mit unseren internationalen Laborstandorten (UK, US, Japan, China).

Anforderungen

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes naturwissenschaftliches Studium mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Molekularbiologie (oder vergleichbar) bzw. eine Berufsausbildung im Bereich BTA / MTA.
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einem pharmazeutischen / medizinischen / biologischen Labor.
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der ISO 9001 sind von Vorteil.
  • Fundierte Berufs­erfahrung im zertifizierten und regulierten Umfeld.
  • Versiert im Projektmanagement.
  • Sehr erfahrene Leadership-Persönlichkeit.
  • Selbstständige, effiziente und sehr genaue Arbeitsweise.
  • Sicher in der Anwendung von MS Office (v.a. Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Fließende Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch.
