Customs and Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH as a Customs and Logistics Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable company in the logistics industry and contribute to the success of our international trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all customs clearance procedures for imports and exports
  • Analyze daily processes, including evaluation and optimization
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customs-related inquiries
  • Prepare and submit origin certificates and Intrastat declarations
  • Determine the origin of goods, customs tariffs, and other relevant information
  • Process letters of credit and coordinate with suppliers and customers
  • Identify and qualify suitable service providers
  • Manage and update master data, including customs and trade-related information
  • Review and update operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all customs and trade regulations
  • Support customs audits and inspections
  • Communicate effectively with government agencies and customs authorities
Requirements
  • Completed commercial education or degree in logistics or a related field
  • Several years of experience in international customs clearance and trade operations
  • Excellent knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and systems
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Proficient in using ATLAS software
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organized approach
