M&A Analyst Intern

As a highly motivated and analytical individual, you will support the execution of transactions as an M&A Analyst Intern at Clipperton.
We are a leading investment bank specializing in technology and growth companies, offering strategic and financial advisory services to entrepreneurs, corporates, and top-tier investors across Europe. With offices in Paris, London, Berlin, Munich, New York, and Beijing, we have completed over 400 M&A and private placement transactions with fast-growing technology start-ups, blue-chip corporates, and renowned financial investors.
This internship based in Berlin offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in:
- Supporting existing and upcoming transactions from kick-off to closing
- Preparing investment memoranda and presentations, including industry studies, strategic reviews, and financial analyses
- Business plan modeling
- Due diligence management
- Commercial and marketing efforts
- Preparation of commercial presentations and pitches
- Identification of new prospects
- Participation in sectoral research papers and other marketing initiatives
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master's degree and ideally some international experience. You should be an entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills, and finance proficiency.
Apart from your academic background and skills, you should also have prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity, or Venture Capital funds, and be interested in technology-based transactions. Your ability to handle pressure, work under tight deadlines, and be a team player is essential.
You must have written and spoken proficiency in German and English, with French or Spanish being a plus. As our ideal candidate, you will not only be eager to learn but also bring a unique perspective and skillset to our dynamic team.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of €20,000 - €30,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience.
