Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Propulsion System team at Alpha-Engineering KG. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for the design of various components, working closely with Mechanical Engineers to drive the development and detailed design of propulsion components.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize aerospace parts and assemblies throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Engineers, to ensure seamless design-to-manufacturing processes.
- Participate in Systems Engineering activities, including requirements definition, interface management, and system-level design.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and technologies, including Siemens NX, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Derive fully dimensioned 2D technical drawings for production and certification purposes.
- University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Siemens NX and experience in designing rotating machinery.
- Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems, with experience in Teamcenter a plus.
- High level of self-reliance, with the ability to work in a team and autonomously as required.
