About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in technology cost management, financial management, or IT strategy to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you'll bridge the gap between Business, Finance, and IT, leveraging your expertise to drive business alignment and optimize IT resources.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost transparency. Your technical skills should include proficiency with TBM tools such as Apptio or similar, as well as strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • TBM Consulting Engagements: Plan, manage, and deliver TBM consulting engagements, working closely with client stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive financial transparency, cost optimization, and business alignment.
  • Client Assessment: Assess clients' current technology and financial environments, recommending and implementing customized TBM frameworks and solutions.
  • IT Cost Optimization: Leverage TBM tools to provide insights into IT costs, value, and business impact, ensuring clients maximize return on their technology investments.
Requirements
  • University studies in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or Information Technology Management
  • Experience: 2+ years in TBM consulting or related fields
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with TBM tools, strong data analysis and financial modeling skills
  • Client Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of IT financial management principles
  • Current residence in Germany, eligibility to work within the country
  • Very good communication skills in English and German, willingness to travel
