Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

This role is a key part of our Finance department, responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting financial data to support our business strategies.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team and contribute to our finance operations and decision-making processes. Your insights will be crucial in guiding our finance operations and decision-making processes.

You'll be responsible for:

• Gathering and analysing financial data from various sources, including financial statements, Excel-based reports, and databases
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and visualisations that provide actionable insights
• Implementing PowerBI and accurately transferring data from several internal systems to one
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and analysis
• Evaluating financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and executive management, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Requirements:

• A background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role in the SaaS/IaaS/PaaS B2B industry
• Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel, and experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly in German and English
