Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We're seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Propulsion Testing department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and conducting tests on the propulsion system, working closely with the design team to ensure the most effective testing approach.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Review and refine test requests with the design team
  • Focus on wind tunnel testing, with opportunities to support other propulsion test campaigns
  • Develop test concepts and detailed designs for test and measurement setups
  • Coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and support teams to ensure smooth test execution
  • Plan and execute tests, including test procedures and risk assessments
  • Post-process data and report results
  • Create and review engineering documentation for test setups and results
  • Provide feedback to the design team for product improvement
  • Support resource and workload planning, and coordinate with interfacing teams
  • Model a safe work environment in the laboratory
Your Ideal Profile
  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (M.Sc/M.Eng preferred)
  • Good knowledge and experience in propulsion testing, with a focus on wind tunnel testing
  • Strong understanding of measurement methods and instrumentation
  • Excellent data analysis and post-processing skills
  • Knowledge of processes, methods, and best practices in testing within the aerospace industry
  • Driven individual with the ability to probe and challenge assumptions
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements and anticipate customer needs
  • High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a diverse team
  • Target-oriented work style with analytic problem-solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial
  • Ability and willingness to travel to external facilities (in Germany, Switzerland & Netherlands) to support test execution (≈15% of the time)
