Position: Logistics Coordinator
Overview:
We are in search of a proactive Logistics Coordinator to enhance our operations at our facility. This role is pivotal in our logistics framework, encompassing responsibilities such as managing customer orders, supervising warehouse activities, facilitating internal transport, executing loading/unloading tasks, maintaining documentation, overseeing inventory, ensuring cargo security, and managing waste disposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the receipt, issuance, and storage of orders
- Supervise warehouse sorting, monitoring, and inventory control
- Utilize pallet trucks, hand trucks, or forklifts for internal logistics
- Conduct safe loading and unloading operations
- Review and archive documents in accordance with compliance standards
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Guarantee cargo security to mitigate damage risks
- Manage the proper disposal of packaging waste
Required Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German with a good command of English
- Educational Qualifications: Completed vocational training in logistics
- Experience: Several years of expertise in goods receipt and material management
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation
- Work Style: Independent and detail-oriented approach
