Design System Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team and drive the evolution of our design system. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing design system best practices across our Rider apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Share ownership of our design system and drive its adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide guidance, and ensure design consistency.
  • Create and maintain high-quality, reusable design components that adhere to our design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design system documentation, including guidelines, usage examples, and specifications.
  • Advocate for the design system, educate teams on its benefits, and provide training and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your design system expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of design principles, UI patterns, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
