Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior M&A Manager to lead and manage M&A projects, internal/external process management, and communication with clients, targets, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage M&A projects from initiation to closure
  • Develop and implement internal/external process management and communication strategies
  • Prepare transaction documents, review financial models, and determine valuations
  • Manage key project factors, including due diligence and negotiations
  • Build and maintain relationships with external counterparties, such as lawyers and accountants
  • Keep the Managing Director informed about project progress and bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain networks that lead to potential clients, targets, and transactions
Requirements
  • University degree or above in economics, finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of transaction experience in M&A/investment banking, corporate M&A, or private equity
  • Strong knowledge of strategic analysis and financial assessment, as well as valuation and pricing
  • Strong networks within M&A, including investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, and PE houses
  • Proficient and excellent language skills in both German and English
  • Initiative, leadership qualities, assertiveness, high work ethic, and strong team orientation and communication skills
  • Conscientious, dedicated, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
