Financial Planning Specialist

Position Summary:

• Support in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assistance in consolidation reporting, including the preparation of financial statements for subsidiaries
• Management of Intercompany balances to ensure timely and accurate settlements
• Creation of manual invoices for goods and services provided
• Point of contact for auditors, providing support and assistance as needed

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team at BorgWarner as a Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Analyze general ledger accounts to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for subsidiaries, including the consolidation of financial data
• Manage Intercompany balances to ensure timely and accurate settlements
• Create manual invoices for goods and services provided
• Provide support and assistance to auditors as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
