IT Security Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant - Information Security Management to join our team at Lufthansa Industry Solutions AS GmbH. As a key member of our IT-Security & Privacy Consulting department, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on the establishment, maintenance, and continuous review of processes and organizational structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on the development and optimization of information security management systems (ISMS) in accordance with international standards such as ISO 27001 and IT-Grundschutz.
- Specialize in at least one of our technical topic clusters:
- IT Risk Management: Identify and assess IT risks, develop business impact analysis, and create risk assessment reports.
- ISMS Development & Optimization: Consult on the development and optimization of ISMS, including the implementation of security controls and procedures.
- Emergency and Business Continuity Management: Identify risks and develop operational instructions for emergency situations.
- Security Laws & Regulations: Consult on the implementation of national and international security regulations, such as KRITIS and NIS2, as well as industry standards like PCI DSS and TISAX.
- Privacy Consulting: Identify requirements with data protection officers, legal departments, and IT, and design data protection management systems.
Requirements:
- Completed training/degree and relevant professional experience in the IT field.
- Practical experience in information security management and knowledge of relevant norms and standards.
- Experience in analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing security-related processes and workflows.
- Certifications in information security management desirable (e.g. ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CRISC or CISM).
- Strong consulting skills, flexibility, and communication skills at all levels.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel for project-related activities.
