Job Description

At Airbus, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Manching, Germany. As a key member of our Operational Software Maintenance Eurofighter team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and contributing to the development of our avionik software for the Eurofighter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and ensure the quality of technical documents and software in the area of safety-critical embedded programming
  • Conduct and support audits in smaller software teams
  • Participate in testing activities
  • Contribute to the improvement and updating of internal processes and procedures
  • Act as a point of contact for development teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience in product quality assurance is an asset
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Ada or C)
  • Knowledge of common quality management and quality assurance techniques (test, review)
  • Knowledge of common standards (DIN, ISO, IEEE)
  • Initiative, communication skills, and conflict resolution skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills
