Product Marketing Manager Job Description

SimScale is a leading engineering simulation platform that is revolutionizing the way engineers, designers, scientists, and architects design products. Our platform is accessible completely via a web browser, with an easy-to-use interface that supports numerous simulation types, including Structural Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, and Thermodynamics.

We are currently seeking a committed Product Marketing Manager to contribute to SimScale's global marketing engine in the next phase of our growth. In this role, you will leverage your proven experience in engaging engineering and design leadership with highly impactful positioning and messaging strategies to challenge their status quo and trigger interest in cloud-native simulation technologies and related engineering design practices to create better products, faster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates SimScale.
  • Create buyer personas and use cases to inform marketing and sales tactics.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution.
  • Produce and manage a variety of content, such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and presentations, to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts.
  • Equip the sales team with necessary tools and training, developing sales collateral including brochures, datasheets, and product demos.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key customers and industry influencers, organizing and participating in customer events to foster advocacy and gather feedback.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing/technical marketing roles within the CAE software industry.
  • Degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or adjacent areas preferred.
  • Professionally experienced in writing customer success user stories, newsletters, handbooks, guides, application notes, and whitepapers.
  • Experienced in presenting and hosting online events and meetings.
  • Developed high-impact storytelling suitable across channels, including digital media.
  • Strong communication abilities and ability to represent the company externally and internally, in front of senior management.
  • High engagement with customers to grow SimScale impact through an authentic and compelling narrative centered on proving out material business benefits.
  • Experience or familiarity with HPC and cloud technologies is a plus.
