Security Operations Analyst
Rheinmetall IT Solutions GmbH is seeking dedicated Analysts for our advanced Security Operations Center (SOC), equipped with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and configuration of security solutions for monitoring threats and identifying vulnerabilities
- Evaluation and documentation of security incidents and events
- Development and adjustment of parameters and use cases for effective security monitoring
- Collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure adherence to and enhancement of IT Security Services
- Facilitation of communication within the IT department and management of external security threats and incidents
- Mentoring and training of Level 1 Analysts, along with the preparation of security reports and analyses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with IT Security standards such as ISO27001, BSI IT Grundschutz, OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls is preferred
- Proficient understanding of IT Security tools including SIEM, Firewall, and Proxy
- Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
