Aircraft Maintenance Technician

As a Crew Seat Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following tasks depending on the area of deployment:

  • Skilled and timely repair of crew seats and their components as well as other equipment
  • Independent diagnosis and troubleshooting within the specified qualification
  • Performing repairs down to component level and creating repair orders
  • Documenting maintenance work and creating cost estimates
  • Modifying equipment as part of additional maintenance work
  • Documenting visual inspections of equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft components
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues
  • Develop and implement repair plans to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship as an aircraft mechanic or in another metalworking profession
  • Willingness to acquire additional qualifications and undergo professional development
  • Ideally, already familiar with aircraft component maintenance processes
  • Good proficiency in German and English
  • Good IT skills
  • Valid driver's license class B
  • Shift work and occasional business trips required
  • Psychological suitability assessment may be necessary
