English German Translator for UX and Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled English German translator to join our Marketing Communications team on a part-time basis. As a translator, you will be responsible for translating a variety of text types from English to German, ensuring alignment with our products' tone of voice and glossaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and optimize web copy, keeping best practices for UX copywriting in mind: UI and feature text, user flows, FAQ, etc.
- Translate and adjust marketing content in German: Email and push notifications, overlays, banners, CTA, SEO/LSO texts, etc.
- Edit, localize, and create copy for the German-speaking markets
- Perform competitor analysis and terminology research in German-speaking countries
- Assist with social media and community management tasks
Requirements
- Native German speaker with business fluent English skills
- Relevant experience in copywriting and translations (English → German)
- Enthusiasm for the online market and a distinctive affinity for the internet
- Ability to put yourself in the shoes of our users
- An eye for detail, strong time management skills, and a structured way of working
