Senior IT Business Analyst

The Opportunity
This position is part of the Abbott Diabetes Care division, focused on developing life-changing products for people with diabetes. As an E-Commerce Project Lead, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for eCommerce projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for eCommerce projects.
- Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and integration with eCommerce solutions.
- Lead and manage eCommerce projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to enhance the customer journey and improve the overall user experience on the eCommerce platform.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor eCommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain eCommerce solutions.
- Ensure all eCommerce activities comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy, Cybersecurity standards.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on eCommerce tools and best practices.
- Review business processes from end-to-end, identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks while also identifying opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor in IT or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 – 7 years of experience in business architecture, process improvement, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English for effective global communication within Abbott's IT delivery framework.
- Proven expertise in requirement gathering and documentation techniques including user stories and process flows.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of these areas: Commerce Tools, Magento, Digital Marketing (AEM, Web Analytics), Sales/Service Cloud)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- End to End understanding of eCommerce operations processes and systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Executive Leadership presentation skills
- Internal-customer engagement skills for requirement gathering and expectation management are essential.
- Prior exposure to Life Sciences or Medical Technology sectors are advantageous.
- MBA degree is desirable.
