Job Description

FLOCERT is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Service Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support operational activities within the Operations Department, ensuring data quality and accuracy of Fairtrade certification related data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including national Fairtrade organizations, Fairtrade International, and producer networks, to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Provide consistent and harmonized communication between stakeholders and different departments within FLOCERT.
  • Offer and improve FLOCERT's services for stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Network and connect with stakeholders at meetings and international events, fostering strong relationships and promoting FLOCERT's mission.
Requirements
  • University level education in a relevant subject, such as Food Science, Business, Agronomy, Economics, or Environmental Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in dealing with multiple international stakeholders, preferably in a certification system or international trade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure from a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with additional language skills in Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Scandinavian languages/Dutch being an asset.
