At Carhartt WIP, we're part of the WIP Trading AG, a family-owned business group that started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s.

We've developed our own collections based on workwear originals, and our business has grown organically over the past two decades, along with our customers, culture, and employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.

We're looking for a skilled Application Development Lead to join our team in Weil am Rhein.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the technical contact for our APP's implementation and further development
  • Lead the App Backend Programming efforts
  • Support our APP PO from a technical perspective
  • Design and assist the entire process from technical conception to implementation and support
  • Develop and maintain the interfaces between our APP systems and their connected systems
  • Be the direct contact with the technical service providers for these systems
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in developing large React.js-based applications, including knowledge of React Native
  • Profound experience in using node.js in the backend
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Deep understanding of GraphQL and familiarity with solutions like schema stitching
  • Comfortable with using Docker
  • Ideal experience in using Google Cloud
  • Comfortable with Git, GitHub, and GitHub actions
  • Able to navigate complex architectures
  • Experience with Commercetools and Sanity is a plus
  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages are welcome)
