Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician at Ingersoll Rand, you will be part of a team that delivers market-leading loading systems for oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, and food and beverage applications. Your responsibilities will include installing and commissioning loading equipment, carrying out service and repair work on loading systems, and maintaining our loading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of loading equipment
  • Service and repair work on loading systems
  • Maintenance of loading systems
  • Training and instruction of customers in operation and maintenance
  • Elimination of technical disruptions
  • Development of problem solutions with the customer
  • Documentation of activities carried out
  • Participation in projects for the improvement of operational processes of technical service

Requirements:

  • Education in the field of mechatronics, electrics or mechanics, preferably with further education as a technician or master craftsman
  • Experience in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of hydraulics, mechanics and electrical engineering, control technology is an advantage
  • High sense of responsibility, flexibility as well as an independent and reliable way of working
  • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written English, another foreign language is an advantage
  • Good PC skills, secure handling of MS Office package
  • Ability to work at heights

Travel and Work Arrangements:

  • Willingness to travel (national & international)
  • Driving license class B
