About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Development Architect to join our Globalization Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of our SAP SuccessFactors Payroll solution, leveraging the latest technologies such as microservice development architecture and Business AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and product requirements into technical requirements, models, and software architecture.
  • Ensure architectural integrity of solutions and lead or participate in research and Proof of Concept activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product architecture and ensure alignment of architecture concepts and documentation.
  • Write clean and maintainable code using best engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in an architect role in engineering and software architecture design, building, and distributing software tools and solutions in an agile environment.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, experience in HCM SuccessFactors and Payroll/Time Management solution.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C++, Python, Java) in a cross-platform environment with multiple operating system targets and databases.
  • Experience in development of complex software solutions based on ABAP/JAVA technology.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
