Accounting Team Lead

At HRS Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Team Lead to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of accounting professionals and driving overall accounting process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for German companies within the HRS Group
  • Ensure ongoing accounting and payment transactions
  • Comply with legal and reporting requirements
  • Continuously optimize and further develop existing processes in the area of finance and accounting
  • Operational involvement in day-to-day business and month-end closing activities
  • Act as a contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and public authorities for the companies you are responsible for
  • Lead and coach a team of up to 5 people
Requirements:
  • Completed university degree in business administration or comparable apprenticeship
  • Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards and German tax law
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as strong communication and implementation skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Navision, SAP, and MS Office is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
