Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Architect to join our team at Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative network architectures and platforms to support our customers in the Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop network architectures and platforms to meet the specific needs of our customers in the PMR sector.
- Collaborate with other teams, including Mobile and IT Security, to ensure seamless integration and technical alignment.
- Evaluate and select hardware and software components, as well as manage external subcontractors and internal product development teams.
- Define system configurations and integrations to deliver complex solutions that combine mobile and IT systems, applications, and services for secure and mission-critical communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with our team to ensure successful project delivery, adhering to Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science, System Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in modern IT and network architectures, particularly with Linux, and/or visualization solutions.
- Experience in the Military (Bundeswehr) and specific requirements for IT and network architectures (standards, security, organization) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with architectures of mobile services and core networks, as well as databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Apache Tomcat, is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills.
